Former chef turned painter after breaking my hip at the young old age of 36! Using the 6 month laid up I transitioned over to being a working (class) artist, and now hold a body of work that has consistency, style, and an artistic vision of it’s own. Starting 2026 strong with two artworks showing in Woodhorn museums Northumberland Open, and making the Jackson’s International art prize extended longlist has widened the barriers of what I am able to achieve with art and its ability to communicate through gallery spaces. Certainly an emerging Northern talent!
My paintings are inspired by the changing motivations of nature, and the interconnectivity of life. I use bold colour to convey a style of contemporary, psychedelic impressionism, drawing from a mixture of life, imagination, and wider media such as graphic novels, animation and illustration.
Many thanks for taking the time to browse my little shop, on my little part of the internet!
